The Opportunity
MDÍø±¬ÃÅ is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dedicated Innovation and Learning Facilitator to join our team at the Rothwell Campus. If you're passionate about creating a dynamic learning environment for students, this could be the perfect role for you!
The Innovation and Learning Facilitator plays a pivotal role in supporting the mission of the College by leading and managing the Rothwell Campus Library as a dynamic, technology-enhanced resource centre. This position drives innovation in learning by integrating digital literacy, eLearning tools, and emerging technologies to enhance student engagement and contemporary teaching practices.
In collaboration with Learning Leads, classroom teachers, and the IT team, the Innovation and Learning Facilitator ensures students and staff have access to high-quality physical and digital resources, fosters a culture of inquiry and independent learning, and promotes ethical and effective research skills. The role also provides professional development and support for staff in information literacy, digital citizenship, and technology integration to enrich teaching and learning. What You’ll Bring to the Role:
> A current QCT (provisional or full) registration, or a current valid child related screening check (working with children check).
> Experience teaching and/or facilitating workshops and programs to students and teachers.
> Experience in teaching information and digital literacy, managing a school library and supporting curriculum.
> Strong knowledge of digital tools, online databases and emerging technologies in education.
> Demonstrated ability to implement information and communication technology into teaching and learning.
> Skills and sensitivity in communicating with parents, students and other employees.
> An ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
> Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to acquire).
